Happy New Year!

January has blown in with blustry winter weather.
Our Second Grade is beginning with blustry enthusiasm for Cursive!
Its fun and exciting to start something new and challenging.
Most Second-Graders take to their new Cursive like ducks to water.

January will end with Dinosaur Day. This will take place on the last
Tuesday, January 25th. Each Student has chosen their dinosaur and
will assume this persona all day. They must prepare and read a Report
about their dinosaur. This Report should have pictures and at least 5
fun facts. Be creative: make Dinosaur teeth, or wear some kind of
costume, or how about a paper-mache model? The Report should
be nicely displayed, so that it can be hung or placed in the classroom.
It will be a fun, finale to our Dinosaur Unit, filled with lots of learning.
